Member utility staff who are logged in have full access to resources.
WPPI provides different ways for members to use their advanced metering system to handle power outages. All members can access the “Outage Management Lite” system, which sends text or email alerts when the AMI system detects an outage. Members can also see, confirm, and resolve outages on an online map. Members can use the OpenPoint outage management solution for more features, which connects with MyAccount. This lets customers receive and report outage information online and helps utility staff communicate better about outages.
Meter Data Collection & Management
The Meter Data Collection & Management Service is designed to allow all members to implement advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) technology, when they are ready, while 1) minimizing the overall cost to members, 2) greatly reducing the need for specialized local information technology talent, and 3) maximizing value from the collected data.
