Senior Director of Regulatory Policy and Rates

WPPI Energy is seeking an analytical, strategically minded individual to develop, advocate and advance its interests and those of its 51 locally-owned electric utility members in state regulatory proceedings, including rate and other policy matters before our utility regulators, primarily in Wisconsin. Responsibilities:

  • Oversee WPPI’s rates staff, whose core function is developing and analyzing retail electricity rates and tariffs for our 51 member communities
  • Coordinate and participate in the preparation of regulatory filings and policy positions, orally and through written testimony and comments
  • Collaborate with internal teams on regulatory issues
  • Foster relationships with key regulators, regulatory staff and stakeholders
  • Represent WPPI in public and regulatory forums

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, public policy, engineering, or related field
  • Knowledge and experience with electric utility ratemaking and energy policy proceedings
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Possess strong project management and organizational skills, as well as being highly motivated and detail oriented
