Project Engineer – Kaukauna Utilities

Kaukauna Utilities is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Project Engineer. This is a full-time, exempt position that will function under the direction of the Manager of Engineering & Project Management.

This position will perform planning and design work in the construction, maintenance, and repair of the electrical distribution system in addition to supporting the water utility. Work includes administrative activities to analyze electric distribution work orders and maintain utility record systems. Duties are accomplished in both the office and field environment.

QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Experience

• Graduate from a four year ABET accredited college or university with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Engineering Technology. (Electrical Engineering preferred)
• Knowledge in electric distribution: Substations, Generation, Communication and/or Line work.
• Knowledge in water utilities: wells, filter plants, and distribution
• Previous utility industry experience preferred.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Based on experience:
0-3 years of experience in the utility or related industry (internship experience acceptable)
$70,000- $85,000 Annual Salary
5+ years of experience in the utility or related industry
$101,000- $120,000 Annual Salary
