Kaukauna Utilities is looking for a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our Maintenance Team.

Essential Functions

• This role is hands-on, involving the installation, maintenance, and repair of power plant machinery and equipment.
• You’ll work with motors, pumps, hydraulic systems, water turbines, and generators to our power generation facilities running efficiently.
• In this position, you’ll perform both preventive and corrective maintenance, assist with inspections, and operate equipment like digger derricks, loader/backhoes, and material handling machinery.
• Responsibilities also include dam maintenance, welding, and occasional collaboration with outside contractors.

We’re looking for someone with eight years of related experience or completion of a mechanical technician apprenticeship program (or equivalent).
