Administrative Assistant

WPPI Energy is seeking a professional, organized, and reliable individual to join our team as an Administrative Assistant. In this role, you will provide administrative support to the Member Relations, Communications & Services (MRC&S) Department. Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the MRC&S department staff, including facilitating registration for training and conferences, making travel arrangements, processing contracts, preparing and submitting expense reports, and other administrative tasks as needed.
- Coordinate and produce departmental invoices, purchase requisitions and check requests; coordinate departmental supply orders, and special purchases.
- Update website and events calendar, process contracts, maintain member information databases, and organize logistics for internal and external meetings, events, and onboarding sessions.
- Use Microsoft Office software applications to create spreadsheets, compose correspondence, create and file confidential documents, manage databases, create presentations and reports, and facilitate copy and print jobs.
- Assist in the planning and coordination of meetings and events.
- Provide backup administrative support to other departments and department admins as needed.
Qualifications:
- One year certificate from college or technical school
AND
- At least one year of related experience and/or training
OR
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) certification through the International Association of Administrative Professionals or similar certification a plus.
Starting Salary:
- $21.15 – $25.96 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
