Government Relations
In our own backyard and at the regional and national levels, WPPI Energy and our members can accomplish much more by working together. Through this joint-action approach, we aggressively work to shape the policies that will affect our ability to maintain prosperous and healthy communities today and for our grandchildren. Advocacy for member interests continues to grow in importance as the utility industry faces increased challenges in the areas of costs, environmental protection and more.
WPPI Energy is active in protecting the interests of our member utilities, influencing legislative activities at the federal and state levels and participating in regulatory matters at the state level and before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and the North American Electric Reliability Corporation.
